We specialize in natural clay & mud plaster, and alis finishes for interior and exterior walls. We also provide traditional adobe building and wall repair. Our plasters are made of natural, sustainable materials and contain no VOCs. They can also aid in the function of your adobe walls by helping them breathe and self-regulate humidity, thus contributing to healthy indoor air quality for you and your family. Natural plasters are also beautiful! Many contain mica that can add a lovely sparkle and feeling to your interior walls.

All About Adobe - Workshop

October 6-8, 2023 | Taos, New Mexico

Did you know that over a third of the world's population lives in earthen buildings? Join us to understand why this timeless approach to construction is gaining popularity. Guided by Alice Ko, natural builder and plasterer, the workshop will cover practical aspects:

Crafting Adobe Bricks: From materials to mixing, you'll learn the essentials.
Exploring Earthen Plaster: Discover the science behind earthen plaster and its unique properties.
Perfecting the Mix: Get hands-on with mixing techniques and learn about innovative additives.
Application Techniques: Experience the joy of plastering and refining your skills.
Final Touches: Learn about finishing techniques like sponging and burnishing.
